The 402 flow

  1. Request without paying. POST /x402/generations answers 402 with a PaymentRequired, in the body and the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
  2. Sign the payment. Any x402 client signs a USDC authorization for accepts[0]. Nothing moves yet.
  3. Send it. Repeat the request with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. The payment is verified and you get 202 with a job id.
  4. Poll. GET the status_url until succeeded, then download result.image_url.
  5. Settled after it’s made. The charge happens once the picture or GIF exists and comes back as PAYMENT-RESPONSE. Failed work is never charged.
